Carol gave us a tour of West Vancouver and then Paul was very helpful in trying to sort out some handyman jobs with her lighting system. A delicous dinner of Carol's lasagne and salad with produce from her balcony garden. All this washed down with an Aussie red......so enjoying our Canadian connections. Home on the Highland bus and a little wobbly like the Capilano Suspension Bridge.

Take Away Tuesday
With a promising start to the morning with no rain Paul and I made our way to Lonsdale Quay. We were lucky enough to catch up with Carol who lives in this neighbourhood. Carol is Tash's nana and Tash is Tom's partner (our youngest son) who lives in Toronto. Such a delightful day with Carol shouting us to lunch at the Two Rivers Speciality Meats and Eatery. This establishment is an amazing butcher shop with a cafe as a side industry......nothing like thinking out of the square and diversifying. You won't find too many vegetarians eating here. Meat delicious..... coffee was cowboy material. To me this would be like Gearings or Mick Davey serving up a snack (6530 butchers) and a beverage along with a kilo of upmarket aged beef, lamb and anything else you might fancy.
